Tweetmaster Nominee’s - O.S.C.A.R.S. 2013

As the semester winds down, the Athletic Department gets busy planning the 12th annual O.S.C.A.R.S. Show. Each year, the O.S.C.A.R.S. celebrate all of the incredible accomplishments it’s student-athletes and teams.

To spice things up this year, our Student Athlete Advisory Council came up with a new award to be presented at the show - Tweetmaster. To be decided by live vote at the event, the Tweetmaster Award will be given to the student-athlete that is unrivaled on Twitter. It could have been their funny photos, perfect hastags, or just whimsical 140 character thoughts that got them nominated… And all of those applied to this first ever go around!

ND Fans, meet your Tweetmaster Nominee’s for the 2013 O.S.C.A.R.S. Show:

Read up on these tweeters and their tweets, and be ready to cast your vote on May 1st at the O.S.C.A.R.S!

Freshman rowers Tylah Gantt & Sarah Claeys took to the water last week, very literally. Let’s just say their first time in a Pair (2 seater boat) was a real splash. #RowingHumor.

Tylah writes to us from the river…

Dear Through Irish Eyes Readers,

Hypothermia isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Also, my water bottle floated into oblivion, so there’s that.

Sincerely,

I’m dehydrated. I’m also Tylah.

On the Road Again…

This time around we catch up with Notre Dame Softball on their journey through the wonderful world of Disney. Not only did the team notch four more considerable victories in Kissimmee, Florida, but they also took time to catch up with Cinderella and play on a field on which the pitching mound even sported the tell tale Mickey Mouse ears.
